About

Rebecca is an experienced project manager, facilitator, social entrepreneur and educator.  Her focus is to support locally led projects in education, employment, and enterprise. 

Rebecca builds constructive and robust working relationships and applies evidence-based practice to deliver and achieve projects and programs respectfully and sustainably. 

Rebecca founded Turnstone Projects in 2003 (formally incorporated in 2005).  Through Turnstone Projects, a certified social enterprise with Social Traders, Rebecca delivers project management and facilitation services.  This work is directly aligned to Turnstone Projects’ social purpose: helping people have fair and reasonable access to opportunities.

Rebecca is also engaged by organisations as an associate for ongoing assignments or contracted to complete long-term projects in education, employment and enterprise. Examples of these engagements include Rebecca being an Associate of the Social Enterprise Academy and of Giving Connect and on ongoing annual contracts in teaching in government and independent secondary schools.

Rebecca has extensive practical experience across rural, remote, and urban communities.  She moves comfortably and effectively between the city and the country.  Rebecca is city born but started her career as a professional woolclasser in shearing sheds across eastern Australia, a certification she still maintains.  Alongside woolclassing, she holds a Master of International Relations (UNSW), Master of Teaching, Secondary (UNE) and a Bachelor of Applied Science, Agriculture (Melbourne).

Rebecca is keen to build and advocate for social enterprise and social entrepreneurs and is a member of the Social Enterprise Council of NSW and ACT.  In her local community, she is a volunteer director of the Marrickville Marauders Fencing Club.
